2009 Photo Shoot Out: Day 2 - Island Lake Lodge

Island Lake Lodge and Powder Cowboy hosted the second annual Photo Shoot Out. This years event was bigger and better with nine photographers and 27 athetes taking part. Each team consisted of a photographer who selected three athletes's with a minimum of one girl. The teams spent two days in Island Lake's terrain and one day at Powder Cowboy. Everyday the teams vied for awards in three categories: Best athletic performance, best compositional image and best scenic image. At the end of the three days, two more awards were presented: Best portfolio and best overall team.

Aaron Whitfield's team included, Marni Wilson, Sam Guenther, and once again, Derek Root.

The team was awarded: Best athletic performance, (Sam Guenther, Day 1,) best compositional image, (Day 3,) and best overall team.
